These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website SmatShopping and all purchases made through it. By browsing the Site, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place orders. SmatShopping is an online business store sourcing products directly from suppliers in China and shipping them to customers in South Africa. We do not hold local stock—all items ship internationally.
1. Use of the Website
You agree not to misuse the Site e.g., no unauthorized access, spam, or illegal activities. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
2. Products and Orders
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR), inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders use the price at checkout.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order (e.g., due to pricing errors, stock shortages, or suspected fraud).
Product images, descriptions, and specifications are for illustration and may vary slightly from the actual item due to manufacturing differences.

Full payment is required after checkout for your order to be processed
4. Shipping and Delivery
We have products that are readily available in South Africa and some orders ship from China to South Africa. We aim for clear expectations given local and international shipping realities.
Order Processing: Orders are processed within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation. A confirmation email will be sent to the client for courier fees if its South African stock and shipping fees when it is China stock. Local stock will dispatched via local courier e.g paxi. When China stock arrives it will also be dispatched via local courier
5.Shipping Times
Estimates only: South African stock takes 3 to 7 days after dispatch. On China stock, Air takes 14 to 30 days and sea takes 45 to 60 days.
- Shipping Costs: Calculated after checkout based on weight, size, and destination.
- International & Customs: As international shipments, orders may incur import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, or other charges from the South African Revenue Service (SARS). These are the buyer’s sole responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping fees. We have no control over these amounts or any resulting delays.
- Tracking & Delivery: Tracking is provided where available (check your email or account). Delivery is to your provided address (door-to-door or nearest post office if required). High-value items may need a signature.
- Delays, Lost, or Damaged Shipments:
- Delays are common in international shipping and not automatic grounds for refund unless the package is lost (after carrier/supplier investigation, typically 30–60 days).
- Lost packages: We assist with claims; if unresolvable, full refund or reship at our discretion.
- Damaged in transit: Report within 7 days of receipt with photos. We handle claims and offer refund/replacement for valid cases.
